It is too time-consuming to scan everything, I'd have to raise prices if I did, but here below is an example of a set graded at ex/ex+ with a high-res scan, so you can get an idea of how I grade. (I will add some example scans of other grades shortly).
- 4th series (1973) complete set of 32 (contains all four: windhex/messclairoil/bum/choke). Condition is ex/ex+, with bum and choke ex+ nice looking. Here is a high-res scan (to see it best, please make sure your browser is not set to automatically resize images).
A word about eBay:
You might see a set on eBay listed as NM sell cheaper than what you see here, but it is very common that I see a card sold on eBay as NM that I would grade EX or below. For example in this auction I would grade that Run Tony borderline EX/EX+ at best, probably more like EX (at least they provided a scan, often they do not or they are too tiny to grade). And it is not uncommon to get VG or even poor cards sold as NM. Many eBayers are honest and decent and you can sometimes get good deals, but you also incur a greater risk. My grading is much more conservative than your typical eBayer, an EX+ card to me must be in very nice condition, I am very hesitant to call a card NM. And if you agree or disagree I offer complete money back guarantee, and you are also free to leave feedback in the feedback forum.
