My 22 year old daughter opened a package of garbage pail kids cards, and was puzzled to see a card for COACH HOTEL. Confused as to this unusual event, she showed me the card. I was blown away!!! I discussed the history and romantacism of Wacky Packages with all four of my children, and they now want to be collectors. We have all viewed the website together and spent hours rolling in laughter. I had posted all of my packages when I was young into a photo album my grandparents had given me, and that book is now a long lost treasure.
Let's all do our part and support Topps in this renewed endeavor. Three Cheers!!!

After reading this morning's paper,it's great to see WP's making their comeback. We recently moved and discovered my old plastic card files filled with WP's from long ago. Still in great shape and possible ready to be handed down or sold! Great site work!

This is classic! I also just read today in the newspaper how Wacky Packages were coming back, and (like others) it brought back memories. I think that I never lost the urge to "twist" around product names into funny ones like Wacky's. I think my favorite was "Hurts" tomato sauce (swalling this stuff really "hurts" your stomach...). I still can't look at a Hertz tomato sauce can without laughing! I too have an old collection and will need to take it out and look at it again. Keep up the great work on this website!

Wow I just read in my morning paper about Wacky's coming back. Boy did it bring back the memories. We would go to the store with my mom,and had to "be good" in order to get a pack. Boy those were the days. Can;t wait to relive them with my son. Thanks Topps!

This is mind-boggling! I just surfed in, and am finding myself transported back to May of 1968. Here come de' Judge! Isn't it something how status symbols change over the years? When I was in the 4th grade in early '68, the one thing that a kid in my school would kill or die for was an oval STP sticker for his notebook (remember the turbine car?). But along about May, STP went out of style and Wacky-Packages were the new "in" thing. I covered the entire front of my notebook with 'em. Years later, when I met my wife, she had her "hope chest" covered with them.
Nowadays, kids think they have to hit up the old man for big bucks for some piece of Japanese electronic crap to be "in". Sad. They don't know what they missed.

Hey man! I am very happy that I discovered this site about Wackys! I thought they were long forgotten by everybody these days. I'm glad that a lot of people still remember them. I'm also amazed at the number of people that are collecting them too. The thing I am most amazed about though is the fact that they are coming back this June! Even though I'm not a kid (I'm 34) I will still buy them once in a great while starting this June. I'm currently trying to get "The Wacky Packages Gallery". Whew! Is that book hard to find! Finnaly my mom contacted Borders books for me and they said they could get it.
