Wacky Packages 2nd Series Rerun 1979

After the successful 1st rerun series in 1979, Topps decided to produce a second series, which also came out in 1979. They produced four rerun series in total between 1979 and 1980. This series has reruns of original series 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8, with a smattering of 4th and 9th. Note on the numbering: The 1st series were numbered 1 to 66, the 2nd series were numbered 67 to 132, the 3rd series were numbered 133 to 198, and the 4th series were numbered 199 to 264 As with all four rerun series, this series has 66 titles.                       SCANS The stickers have checklists and puzzle pieces on the backs. Oddly, one of the puzzles on the back is Wormy Packages, however that title is not one of the stickers in the 2nd series, it was released in the 1st series instead. Packs have six stickers and a piece of gum. There are three different wrappers depending on the ad variation: Wall Poster, Ring Pop, Pop Bottle Candy For some unknown reason the 2nd series is the hardest to come by of all four rerun series. The box, pack, sheet and set are all a bit more difficult to find for this series.
